Being an ex Florida resident moving to Maryland in 2020 I didn't vote for DeSantis the first time. His whole campaign was on how great Trump was he had no policies. Would never vote for him even if he was the only person in a one person race.

It's really impossible to discuss the Desantis phenomenon without addressing the term "fascist." In Florida that's not just a generalized slur. We know its meaning and history. Media need to start reporting on Desantis in the context of fascism, which he's brought on himself.
