Great vlog Lydia and I once read a quote which stated “the expert was once a beginner”. It bought me peace during my wellness/exercise journey because a journey never ends. It’s our own race to conquer.🌻❤️🥰

As a mother, i can confidentially say i have no idea what im doing. Running, learning something new and motherhood are as humbling as f. I know we can all relate.

I started a new hobby about a year ago, watercolour painting. It is probably one of the things I enjoy the most these days, guess much like your gardening. Yet the last few weeks I have become so frustrated by my lack of skill and not getting to where I "should" be. I actually said to myself exactly what you said in the beginning. "Why am I stressing and getting frustrated", it is because I want to impress others with my newfound skill, but yet that takes the joy out of it. Just painting and letting be what will be. It should be something for yourself and not to impress others.

I enjoyed the first portion of the video so much! I am so guilty of doing that, of feeling this need to "perform" for other people. I love the way your videos have evolved and getting to ride on the wave of your personal growth, it helps me so much. I'm 24 and it's so easy to be caught up in following the trends when your friends does, both in fashion but also in regards to body image and confidence etc. Thank you for sharing all of this with us. You are by far my favourite content creator to follow. I've been following you for a long time, since you lived in your old house, and it's lovely to grow with you :)

Lydia, I need to make a statement. Previously I questioned amd critiqued the lack of authenticity and appearance of the theme of supposed materialism but how humbled I have become now to sit here and witness you in all your grace and beauty as you share with us more of who you are. Too beautiful to watch - so heartwarming so vulnerable yet so so amazing. Thank you for sharing yours and Ali’s incredible, beautiful and amazing life with all of us… lump in my throat… dare I say you have come fully into who you are and I just can’t wait for all that is to come. Soo nice to hear you talk about the importance of running for you self, to make you feel good. Booth i body and soul. I bern running for almost 30 years and I have always been running for me. Sometimes it goes well, sometimes I go fast sometimes I go slow, don't really matters. Sometimes it is really hard to just go out the door, especially in winter. Keep up the good work!!
