Isn’t anybody gonna talk about how fast they figured out there wasn’t a gas leak
  • Mass hysteria aside, I thought it kinda normal if someone was nauseated after seeing someone else puked or smell the puke... My friends all act this way, 90% of the time. They don't always feel sick, they're just too grossed out by the puking...
  • My dad had an allergic reaction to Lisinopril to where his lips, tongue and face ended up super swollen. His doctor "prescribed" him sour candy, specifically War Heads. We finally found some and they did the trick. It was a blocked salivary gland.

I've been in a psych ward and saw this happen first hand. I was the cause, I had severe food poisoning and had to go the er floor fluids and emesis treatment. So as I was gone everyone was locked down in thier rooms and got better with rest and time. When I got back everyone was fine and I was stuck in bed for a day resting. Got visited by everyone though. One good thing that came from treatment!
  • Mass Hysteria is a near perfect reflection on the consequences of our own social circles. Yeah, laughing and talking is healthy for a community to govern and migrate new ideas, but what exactly happens when those ideas aren't properly thought out and sends the wrong commands your body is trying to expel like waste. Being balanced isn't a suggestion, it's a mandatory life-or-die situation.

When I saw that all of them suddenly started feeling ill after all of them seeing the girl puke I instantly thought of mass hysteria, guess I’ve been watching too much medical shows to now have a feeling on what things can be.
  • The comment about preferably cherry flavoured likely comes from the fact that a lot of cheaper cherry flavoured candies are almost indistinguishable from some childrens medications.
  • Lol, as soon as the boy said he smelled rotten eggs too I knew it was mass hysteria. I’ve seen it with younger kids though, like grades K-5. They’re still soaking up their surroundings and their imaginations help amplify this. If one kid had a stomach ache, every kid suddenly had a stomach ache. Actually, I do remember a similar situation like this when I was in the 6th grade. One girl got a poison ivy rash and the entire class started to itch and claim having brushed up against the ivy, even though we didn’t have the same recess periods.

Girl: are you sure this isn’t candy? Doctor: I’m sure now swallow it.. girl: what’s next? Doctor: that’s it, your all cured, that will be $2,000 America

My older brother only drinks water and he eats a lot of hydrating foods and both types of diabetes run in our family so sometimes my brother just has to drink soda or eat candy to make himself feel better sometimes candy is the best medicine

This is my first time ever seeing this show... ever... I found out about it from my nurse yesterday while in the hospital for a sickle cell crisis and a blood transfusion so here I am. I got home today around 12p.m. Candy does help with nausea though!!!

I just realized watching this video that the actor who plays Iggy, Tyler Labine also plays Dale in Tucker and Dale vs Evil, one of my all time favorite black comedies.
  • You know if you smell puke you're more likely to puke right? It's not all in the kids heads.

This psych ward looks so much better than the one I was in
  • I can't believe there wasn't a gas leak and a lot of kids were barfing there guts out like crazy it's nuts. I actually thought it was something they all ate like someone poisoned there food
  • @LadyJuse

In pharmaceutical sense it's called placebo effect. For ones who don't know.
