This was more of a 'setup and customization' video rather than a 'tips and tricks' video.

This is a great video with excellent verbal instruction. I came across this video when I was deciding if Linux was a suitable replacement for Windows for me. The video I watched on how to install Linux Mint and this video helped me decide that Linux isn't that scary. My old HP laptop is loving life again and I've just finished the setup using the video. Looks great.

Awesome! Thanks a lot for this one! I'm a mac user that switched to mint, so this is really great to "ease the mac pain" a bit :)
-
great video!! thanks for sharing.
-
Title should have been tips and tricks to make LM more Mac- like, which is OK for me as I am an ex Mac guy now Linux Mint, who won't touch Apple with a 50 foot pole but still like aspects of MacOS. This was very useful. Thanks.

Thumbs up . This helped me :)
-
Just a tip for Plank. Ctrl while right clicking anywhere on Plank brings up settings for Plank
-
Can I use cinnamon dynamic wallpaper extension in linux mint mate?
-
Can we get the ubuntu panel with good looking styles in linux mint?
-
actually, for Plank, just hold the Control key on the keyboard and right click anywhere in the island, and it will give you the menu!!!!
-
I have no idea to change the login screen to look like Mac style .....how to do ?
-
some cool tricks

Wish Plank was still maintained. It is a great dock that works great but it has issues with me and so I stopped using it.

This machine im using some one left it for dead its over ten years old i took it and installed Linux Mint on it works great ...just one glitch bumps me off and goes to login screen once in a while

I'm trying to follow along, but my laptop that runs Linux is so painfully slow that the software manager hasn't finished loading yet
-
Thank for the video. I hate anything Apple. Thanks for the stuff that wasn't that.
-
Thanks. I subscribed. Just speak up so us old people can hear. π

Please make narration more conscise, continous (writing script is handy!) and please do use your voice. Barely audible. Video clarity is fine, on the other hand, that's good.
-
you should change title of the video - dress linux up in mac os :-) other then that good video mate
