The memory of my Dad waxing our sparkling clean 1974 Monte Carlo while drinking beer after beer from his cooler chest as he played this song 5 times in an hour on Saturday afternoon 😂.....And oh yeah.... and my little spoiled azz always demanding a dollar on that day before the ice cream truck drove past our house.....shout out to all the dad's who go the extra mile for their children; especially tha girls! 😊

I’m a 62 year old white male, grew up in a small Texas town, when this came out, I forced my friends to listen, they eventually got how good this group is. Walking down the sidewalks outside high school, a throng of long haired white boys jammin to Summer Breeze, Who’s that Lady, Fight the Power, and Shout of course. One of my friends said, you ruined me, I can’t listen to Merle (Haggard) anymore. Thank you Earnest, Ron and the band that changed a few lives for a while.

There is NO WAY Ernie Isley’s guitar playing on this won’t go down in history as some of the best! I believe his friend and associate, Jimi Hendrix smiles every time someone new listens to it.

There would be no racial strife in this country if everyone listened to the Isleys

Ernie Isley is without question the most underrated guitarist ever!
  • The original version of this song by Seals and Croft doesn’t hold a candle to The Isley Brothers version
  • That is probably the best guitar solo I’ve ever heard 🎸🎸

I was born in 71 and when i used to see Ronald Isley's face on the album it used to scare me ..As i got older and put the voice to the face...Im ashamed of my self...His voice is like fine wine ..soothing
  • Ernie Isely a lot of people don't know that he learned from Jimmy Hendrix but he took it to another level and again a lot of people don't know it that Ernie Isely can play either with his right or left hand.
  • Ernest makes that guitar talk, walk and then jog !!! I Love to hear him play !!! Old school jam !!!
