I think the in game economy tends to reel people in aswell :) theres a lot of things to collect, buy, and sell while you build your base

There is a charm about Lumber Tycoon 2. I have played many games like Lumber, but none match the calmness or the excitement of starting a new save or building a base.

LT2 was a part of my childhood, it led me to Roblox, if lt2 didn't have hacker components, the game would be more interesting.

I love this game Been playing for years across tens of accounts BUT there does come a point like a month into playing where the game stops being lumber tycoon and becomes extortionately-priced-limited-items tycoon it's a shame cause I much prefer the lumber and building side of things

After leaving LT2 due to hackers taking quite a few of my items I went to Oaklands. But there are many problems I have with it. Oaklands map is just to complicated feeling and does not capture the calm, relaxed feeling of the LT2 map. And just like the top comment says the LT2 economy is really fun and Oaklands does not really do any of it. Almost everything is based off of that alpha gift.
