Published 2024-04-19
In today's video, I'll be taking you through the final touches I've made on the van. And have fun while doing it. While I am the one to talk you through the project, start work on it and film it all, Jr. Wigi is the one to edit the video together.
We hope you all enjoy this episode of our new project series.

  • My word, that is a superb job, you have some amazing skills. I remember the Willow Green and Grey Vans and Pickups from the mid 60s and the gaps were far from perfect when they were factory new. Thank you for posting.
  • I have a 1967 Mini Traveler steelside - that is the station wagon ordered with the "delete wood trim" option selected. That was common here in Canada due to winter upkeep issues, while the upgraded heater (3.5 kw?) was also commonly selected. They both show up on my Heritage Certificate. Vans were very uncommon here, while the Parks Department here in Toronto ran several white pickups.

Thank you. This is identical to the one my late Dad taught me to drive in 1971 🙏❤️🇬🇧

Beautiful work Paul, a true pleasure to watch such craftsmanship.
  • Being a mini man myself it is great to see a job being done correctly as so many do not do that, great work. Regards Doug.
  • Paul , I could not be happier . Your attention to detail is astonishing . Now off for painting , which will be about 6-8;weeks before putting it all back together . Looking to do a final video of the finished article !!!

Great skills and knowledge sir. I was caught out many years ago on fitting inner wheel tubs on a pickup. Its only now thanks to you that I found out they are wider on pickups. I thought it was something that I had done wrong lol

Great work, i customized and restored 8 minis a few years back and bought herigtage panels from Moss Bro's and had too modify most panels but they were better than after market replicas. Just restoring a Lambretta TV 175 a the moment and the panels are a nightmare and not cheap . Loving your work and attention too detail 👍.
