He basically nearly screwed his life up just because he couldn't control his temper like a level-headed adult. Well done for how you handled it.

DVLA Guy : "I will not be held to ransom!!", which is exactly what the DVLA does when it clamps a member of the public's car......

Can tell you work in a prison, you are so chilled about the way this guy was behaving, but you've probably had to deal with much much worse. Well done for keeping it calm and dealing with it politely. And I'll be double checking my tax auto renews this year! Thanks for the heads up!
