I think that sometimes dark music is more relaxing. It’s nice to be able to chill and not force yourself to be happy. The world is messed up and you’re tired, but you can just be content where you’re at for a moment while you recollect yourself.

It's around 2007. I'm 18 years old and I'm alone at home playing Silent Hill 2 for the first time. This playlist brings back those memories I still wish to experience again.

I love seeing a community bonding over this music. When I was in the 2nd grade, I listened to this stuff alongside normal music. I've always had a strong emotional connection with this game, even 10 years later now graduating high school. Nostalgia and all, Silent Hill 2 remains one of the most memorable games I have ever played.
