Old Louisiana - French Creole Beguine Jazz

Published 2022-04-11
I upload this video as an ode to the Louisiana Creole civilization and its beauty. You shall see old videos and images of the fruits of Creole Louisiana.

The music style is beguine, also called exotic jazz or jazz beguine, a popular and romantic Creole ballroom dance in the 1800's originating from Martinique and spread throughout Creole Louisiana, the Creole worle, and France. It is a parent of later New Orleans jazz. Enjoy mes amis!
