Bored Fridays No. 1 - Funky House and Hard Techno using Pioneer DDJ-RZX

this set remembers me back to my clubbing time in the 90s...very cool set. can I ask you somethings....how are your experience with doing such sets, mixing different genres in one set? ....I am wondering because in the early days it was just usual to mix up all kind of genres...starting with house ending with techno or whatever. I still like that and I also still mix that. BUT to me it looks like the listeners from today want it much cleaner, - I mean NOT mixing all genres together. ok , melodic house and progressive house is for sure no problem ...but house/techno ...or even progressive/techno is not as much liked as it used to be... - whats your meaning? I also do weekly live- radio shows (without video) ...every thursday, - well today :) ...I play melodic/progressive house and every week later I do minimal deep&techno...and I also thought of doing such a set like you did here...but I am really unsure if I should do that.... - all sets I do really live and freestyle..no preparing anythings as I don't like the feeling, I really have to work during mixing and looking for the next track. bit more risky but very natural. anyway would be nice to see a comment from you...I don't want to disturb you..you can also delete this post if too long or whatever....just saw your comment at Emi Galvan track about your radio appearance....have a great day and keep doing your love...greetings from switzerland (email - [email protected])
