One thing the movie did really well is they made the conclusion of the trilogy into the origin of Tom Spiderman. Now he has no friend, no family, no Stark's tech, just your friendly neighborhood spider man

I love how they describe it in the script "Peter Parker is no more but Spider-Man lives on"
  • @Shattered3582
love how tom essentially has to restart all over again, making his own suit and becoming the friendly neighbourhood spiderman. only this time he has to do it all by himself

The moment I find the most heartbreaking in this movie was exactly this moment when Happy said "I lost a good friend a while back"
  • the ending of this movie was so sad knowing he lost EVERYTHING near and dear to him. Family, friends everything just gone.

Something about the way Peter said "Thank you" @ 2:56 made him finally seem like an adult, finally a man. He said it with quiet confidence, assuredness. He walked in the coffee shop still a bit like a clumsy boy, but left a man, seeing his friends in a better place, even though he is in far lonelier one.

I feel like I want Holland's Peter and Loki to meet now. They both made drastic sacrifices for the sake of the multiverse.

"It doesn't hurt anymore" The double meaning of that. Ouch.

For every 2000s kids, watching the new Tom's Spiderman feels a bit different because of the complexity of the story and it's inclusion with thte whole MCU but this ending made it feel like it is still a Spider-man universe the way how Raimi's Spiderman was. See? There's no superhero fatigue, what we really need is good writing.

Sad thing I realized, the reason why he went out swinging could’ve been because since it’s Christmas time, he has no one to celebrate it

When he told Happy to take care of himself, you know that this is certainly the last time Happy would show up in a Spider-man movie.

The character of Peter Parker is such an inspiration. I know he is just a fictional character, but that’s what fictional characters do, right? To inspire. At least, that’s what I think the authors should write their characters to be.

One of the things I didn’t really like about Tom’s Spider-Man was that he was dependent on a mentor instead of figuring it out himself like in the comics. This ending is just such a perfect ending to a Spider Boy becoming a Spider-Man. Probably one of my favorite endings in film.

What’s great about this ending is it could be the actually ending for this story and still be satisfying, but still leaves room to tell another chapter.

No Aunt May, no friends, all alone with Venom in his reality. The next Spider-Man is going to be really dark.

Personally love Tom’s Spider-man. The whole trilogy with him built up his connections, His gear from hoodie and mask to high tech suit. His relationships with friends and mentors. All of that, only to lose it all in the end. But he has that small glimmer of hope that one day he may build those connections again. Hope to see more of Holland’s Spider-Man in the future.

One of the saddest version of Peter ever. All Peter’s face hardships but losing everything including his own existence hurts like hell

Brings a tear to me the every time. That moment when he’s deciding they’re better off without him and he chooses to be alone.
