CRUISE NEWS - COUPLE BLAMES NCL CRUISE LINE FOR LEAVING THEM BEHIND.
Couple who have been on over 30 cruises still blames NCL Cruise Line for leaving them behind when their excursion was late getting back to the ship. They claim the cruise line did not even try to reach them until late the following day about getting back on the ship. They also say the ship was late leaving port 3 stops in a row but would not wait for passengers when they were running late. So whos at fault, the couple or NCL?

This couple needs to accept that it was their responsibility that they missed the ship. Period!!!!

Totally the couple’s fault. Without a doubt. they should be thankful that they were able to catch up to the cruise ship the next day

If they've taken 30 cruises, then it's their own darn fault if they book a private excursion and they miss the ship. TOUGH!!!
  • @nancykrol3065
They knew the rules. I have no sympathy for those who feel that they are so important that the cruise line is going to hold departure just for them

Just because you’re Tanzanite level cruiser and you’ve taken 101 cruises, doesn’t mean you can’t make a mistake. Don’t act entitled and blame the ship for your errors. Get your Tanzanite level butt back 30-60 min before all-aboard.

Typical, blame someone else when you're to blame!

Yep agree with every word Don. Not NCLs fault at all and if they are experienced cruisers they should know that.

No need to complain. They were late, the ship has to keep its schedule.... Late? >Left behind. Their own fault. Every cruiser knows the procedure. I do not feel sorry

They were late period. That’s why you should not to take a private tour your fault
  • This couple, who have been on 30 cruises, should have known better . On my 15th cruise, I was in a cab in Mexico that had an accident, and the police wanted me to stay. I explained that we had an all aboard in 30 min and they had all my information. They did not care if l missed my ship. Finally, I realized I needed to slip the police and my cab driver extra to let me leave. I jumped in another cab and ended up a pier runner. But l was there for the all aboard. I learned my lesson and only go on the ship shuttles, pay for an excursion or walk.
  • Another lesson learned. No one to blame but yourself. Hope people listen and plan accordingly. ⚓️

Always plan to be 30 minutes to a hour back on the ship before it departs.

Late is late. People always want to blame someone else
  • @melvinjacobs2328
These people should know better. Another example of people not taking responsibility.
  • @slammedgv
They were late. It’s not the cruise lines fault.
  • @terryanderson849
If that couple is "experience" they should know better. NCL shouldn't be blamed for it.

As an 80 year old adult, and experienced at cruising, they should KNOW that the cruise will not wait for them! My spouse and I have 20+ under our belt. We always book our own excursions but we are smart enough to be sure we are back on time. We have never had an issue, ever. Take responsibility for yourself or stop cruising...end of story. The cruiseline had nothing to apologize for.

I wonder if they think the airline should wait for them if they miss their boarding time.
