In a marathon speech that lasted an hour and a half, Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump touted unity, but lashed out at political foes. Linda Feldmann, the Washington bureau chief for the Christian Science Monitor, said the first 15 minutes were ‘absolutely spell-binding,’ but Trump’s attacks on political opponents may not have won any new voters in the wider American electorate.
