Steak Frites or steak and fries (chips)
Indulge in the heavenly delight of French Steak Frites, believe it or not, it’s the the epitome of classic French cuisine. This beloved dish features succulent steak accompanied by a generous portion of crispy, golden fries. However, this version takes it to another level of decadence. Imagine tender, perfectly seared steak smothered in a velvety cream sauce, rich with flavors that will tantalize your taste buds.

The fries, oh the fries! They’re not just any ordinary fries but hand-cut, old-fashioned street corner chips cooked to perfection in aromatic duck fat, ensuring a delightful crispness that complements the steak exquisitely.

You can use the cut of meat you prefer, something cheaper, you don’t have to use tenderloin, but if you can afford it, go for it! To complete the plate, it’s best to make a fresh, vibrant salad that adds a refreshing balance to the rich flavors.

Don’t be intimidated; this mouthwatering feast is surprisingly easy to prepare, allowing you to savour a taste of France right in your own kitchen.

Giday Joel, tonight with your help, I fashioned up a feed, I used porter house steak, fan fried, seasoned with garlic, and barbie seasoning, veg was collie, asparagus and stringless beans, steamed, dressed with pepper sauce, over steak and veg, I didn’t have cream for sauce so I added a knob of butter, and it thickened nicely, sorry for late text, but I thank you Joel, God’s blessings on you and family, amen 😊👍🙏,
