I've not seen a tackle that dangerous since Kenty got flung upside down into a tree.
-
Blues fan here: Gordy is absolutely correct. Sua'ali'i is responsible for aiming at the upper half of the chest. These players are professionals and they know that there's always a chance that the attacker slips at the final moment. Let it be a lesson to aim lower and smash players legally like Liam Martin did
-
It's a send off every day of the week. I have no doubt he didn't mean to hit Walshy's head and he got it wrong but it was dangerous and as much as I hate seeing QLD win, he had to go. We were watching it at the pub and me and my mate both said straight away, he's gone and that's the game. We only stayed because the beers were cold.

Braith doing his best job to contradict himself into a twist.
-
Braith is talking shite, Queensland lost Walsh for the rest of the game and possibly origin 2, and he thinks NSW should just lose a player for 20 minutes, crap.
-
the host is pissing me off, if reece got paralysed or something, carreer ended no one would be saying is it a sin bin or a send off? without the players there is no brand, not 'we need to save the brand.'
-
Braith doing his best one eyed impersonation. Lost a lot of respect for how little he cares about concussions. We all want to see Walsh play and that got robbed from us from a clear tactic gone wrong
-
You can see he’s lined Walsh up for the sweet hit, all went wrong pretty quick. Bit unfortunate but you can hardly argue the outcome.
-
DANGEROUS TACKLE, SEND OFF OFFENCE. HARD LUCK NSW, FROM A SUPPORTER
-
It was a flying shoulder charge..no attempt to wrap the arms..wether Walsh slipped or not..
-
There was a game plan to rock Walsh. A rookie, charged up by the emotion of the big stage. The moment presented Suaalii with an opportunity to fulfil that assignment and lay him out. A few centimetres lower he would have had a potential game-turning moment in NSW's favour + he would have a highlight reel for the ages again in favour of Suaalii, and potentially put fear in Walsh. However, he got it wrong and shouldered Walsh's head in a flying motion, Full stop. It is a game of inches. A heavy price to pay to achieve one assignment.
-
Surprised no one has brought up the fact there was no arms in the tackle, it was all shoulder to the head.
-
I was really enjoying the dynamic of this talk show, and then Braith went crazy 🤣
-
I dont get the point from Braith: "Protect the Bread > Protect the player" - It would be regular for opposing teams to target best player on the opposition if this would be the case. (Imagine if Cleary got tackled mid air and dropped to his head) - Career ending injuries awaits players who play in Origin. - Best Players from NRL wont be allowed by their clubs to play origin due to the possibility of this head knocks and season-ending/ career-ending disabilities. - Rugby which is the bread will die if this will be the case. - Greatest sport should be played clean and penalties like sent off was there to make sure that the game remains the greatest sport.
-
If Sua’ali’li was allowed to stay on the field after that or just went to the bjn, then you’d probably never see another send off again
-
Never ever comment on things like this… but Braith seriously 😳
-
If you do what Anasta is suggesting when the blues got the red. That's crazy. Teams would end up having a Goon, purely to just go take out the best player, and get sent but knowing someone is coming in to replace them. That's what it'll end up as 100%.
-
It doesn't matter whether there was intent or not. Players don't get away with knock ons because the player didn't have the intent to drop the ball.
-
Protect the player first then the game you mong, Braith
-
"yes he was slipping" HE WASNT EVEN HOLDING THE BALL
