  • Well. That was certainly something. Still, let's go, tiefling lesbians! Karlach seems so happy when Eve confesses to her! Speaking of which: It's interesting that she's the only companion where deciding to spend the night together is a romantic confession, not making or accepting a more... physical proposition. I don't know if this is connected to the social stats, Karlach's overheating condition, or nothing at all, but it makes this feel much more like the start of a romantic partnership than the other options. I like it!

You might have been able to move Clive, as you can do with other items. Scratch didn't fetch when you dropped it. (Not commenting on the... possibilities for the night, except... I think what Gale had intended might have been something that didn't make sense. Not sure.)

plays "All I Want To Do Is Have Some Fun" by Sheryl Crow for Astarion
  • 40 min episode, amazing when you can die/turn into a mindflayer on any given day, i think being horny and acting on it immediately is quite justifiable yeah the alternate vampire reveal scene you got meant you couldn’t get a couple really big astarion approval boosts, that sucks. hopefully you get other good opportunities for that. big fan of his rejection dialogue though, that was funny wyll being a devil and not a tiefling is immediately apparent to everybody in-universe, although I don’t know what the distinction is. i have been assuming it’s curvier horns and the particular location and shape of the ridges (personally i think the developers were cowards, should’ve given him wings and more devil stuff). so i think that excuses him somewhat here, although not in that first meeting with karlach. there i assume he was conflating devil and tiefling because he was in denial and still wanted to listen to mizora. other than that, the writing surrounding wyll is pretty much the one flaw i have with this game- player dialogue options and reactivity surrounding him feel mediocre. for romances, if you agree to several propositions, you choose when going to sleep who you want to be with. you can have multiple relationships for some time until a character gives an ultimatum also all the companions are pansexuals, happy pride <3

I'm wondering how different this event could be depending on if you had done much different actions. And yeah in my experience there is always one or two members of a dnd group whom have a character that tries to get it on with everyone- I've mentioned before that in the years long campaign I was in there were times when it felt like the rogue player and the barbarian player were competing to see which could sleep with the most npcs. As for what's going on in camp I feel this has the problem most video games like Fallout or Mass Effect do that depending on the choices and whim of the player they can romance or knock boots with any party member the devs allow with no consequence so everyone seems to come across a bit like horny teenagers.
