Im taking the plunge this weekend it looks right up my alley and looks like it will just get better with time

I have had this thought they are just releasing this as is, and I hope it does well because a sequel will be in the works in 2-3 years with the boarding and free roam on land with weapons.

Black Flag was at most 40% on the water. It's primary focus was on being a normal sort of AC game.

I’m hoping there’s more to the game than they showed in the closed beta and testing. Fingers crossed everyone is blown away and it’s not fully spent on the ship.

Podcast now next week: why I need a yakuza live action
  • I actually pre ordered the C E for this game can’t wait to play it 😊

Im giving this game a chance coz of how ubisoft gave so much time to polish and to be honest we never got a good ship simulator kind of game before so yeah kudos to ubisoft to understanding that scenario where theres not much of a standard to go and pretty much they need a standard to make this succeed.

I think the live service aspect can ply into this man. I mean if they make the world rich with history and flavor and let it live and breathe with content upgrades I think this game can still be a banger. I also like the insistence of real history in the game regardless of the moser fantastical elements
  • Great analysis Alex! I think there’s great potential here If Ubisoft sticks to it and continues to provide updates, improvements and new content. ESO Online just recently passed 24 million players and they’ve been around since 2014. It will definitely take time for this to grow. Personally I’m glad to see a new MMO live service game.

I'm a pirate fanatic and I'm gonna sit this out. I heard a rumor that it's going to have a beefy trial on PS5. If that's true I will check it out but I'm not buying it. I played one of the betas and for me a pirate game without on land or boarding combat is NOT a pirate game

I have the subscription service for Ubi so I’ll try it

I've had the good fortune to participate in three betas. I must admit, I've enjoyed the game . Seeing the game improve and giving feedback has been well worth it. I am eager to set sail and have placed my preorder for the premium Edition.
