this is the perfect song for her. she has a soulful and gritty voice. the way they position the key the song is in, is such that when she its the 'do the talking' high note, it is probably at the top of her highest register singing in natural voice and no falsetto, that the only way to reach it is to literally shout it. normally im not a fan of too much shouting type singing, but in this case it works since you can tell how much angst and pain when she puts into singing that note
