  • He beat alcoholism, poverty, dropping out from school at 12, losing a brother before to even become a professional fighter, he was Brazilian champion of kick box while working at a tire shop and drinking 1Liter of cachaça every day, and just entered a fighting class at 21, this guy is doing the unbelievable even before taking over the fighting world and records, never dought poatan. Chama 🔥

His left hook is so good that it got him his BJJ blackbelt
  • Idk why anyone thought a sloppy brawler (Hill) would stand a chance in a striking match against a 2 division kickboxing champion (Alex Pereira). It went exactly how I thought it would.

“The threat of a takedown will change a striker” exact definition of Cain Velasquez his standup was so good because he was a world class wrestler and his takedown defense was amazing
  • Just the fact that many many fighters once they get that belt they latch onto it and become way less active just in fear of losing it and this man after his first title defense wanted to fight again in 3 weeks just shows how damn tough and special he is
  • @swimclub2829
He told this story without Anderson Silva that’s crazy
  • @WitchDRofKabul
He was a 2 division champ in kick boxing too. Great striking and power like we've never seen till now.

Alex being 2.5 years into his career being coached by a guy in Glover who had to take the long way around is one of the coolest stories in MMA right now
  • @astackzzzz277
The main thing we learned from this fight is that the Chel Curse is a greater than the Drake Curse
  • Alex is becoming my favorite fighter. I've been watching since 2000 and Alex has blown my mind with what he has accomplished
  • 0:15 Love that Chael has decided UFC 1 took place in Mobile, Alabama instead of Denver, Colorado.
  • @BrushworkNL
In all honesty, I was about to bet $120 on Alex until I heard Chaels prediction, I immediately upped my bet to $300. Thanks uncle Chael, always appreciate your inputs.
