Wolves are awesome, so using my budget Wacom drawing tablet, I work on growing my drawing skills even further by drawing a Wolf in adobe photoshop with the help of a professional furry artist. What came out of it was far more hilarious than either of us anticipated.

With just 2 hours of help from the professional artist Holiday, I was able to improve my digital art ability by leagues. From actually being unable to comprehend an image of a wolf, to being able to recognize shapes, contours, and reference points of the wolf and applying it to the drawings.
My drawings are nowhere near as good as a professionals but with more practice, people won't laugh at my "wolf" drawings.

Big thanks to HoliHowls for drawing circles around me... Check her out here :

  • No joke, this is the most efficient art instruction I've ever seen. All these tips are laser focused to create the most improvement in the least amount of time. Big props!

I....NEED to learn to sketch fast so badly. It's such a valuable skill and makes you much more moldable as an artist and flexible in drawing faster in general and not worrying about the overall thing CAN I JUST SAY I LOVE THAT SKETCHY STYLE????
  • @AngelsonClan
as a furry artist myself, I shall say skuru did a pretty good job at drawing these floofsters :]
  • @miku0621
drawing over the pictures like that actually helps me alot since im a visual learner.
  • @PartanBree
Why is it that adding a cartoon megaphone makes bad echoey audio like 100x LESS annoying?! Everyone should do this! This is really effective teaching and you came on really well in a super short time. Well done! I love the collie dog vtuber model btw.

Never thought I'd be here, but I really became interested in anthro/furry art lately and I just love how open and helpful this community is!

okay but ... I have been getting back into making art again after shaming myself out of it for 10 years. And I have been looking specifically at other people's lineart and being like... I know there is something I am doing differently that doesnt look the way I want. and I SEE what they are doing but I do not know what they are doing differently. And the thicker/darker lineart to show different lighting is one of the MAJOR pieces I was missing, I think. I love this format of crash course learning art stuff! Its super helpful for viewers as well. I love this
  • @kaylewolf
Yay let's go! This genuinely helps me, thank you skuru and holi ^_^
  • Oh I think that clump-drawing practice directly on the reference image was really good! I'm also learning a lot from this, lovely video and amazing teacher :D
  • @Sans-iv1wy
also whats happening here? only 288 veiws and 1 comment that is not me. you should deserve a lot more , you are an adorable bean keep the up the good job!
  • @KitsuneNeko
Their tips are like... SUPER helpful. To the point I feel like I could share this with my friends and family for those who wish to draw. But then two things... this is all furry stuff which might make them uncomfortable... and second... the comments in the video. XD Not sure I'd share this confidently with my mom... yah know? XD Maybe I can adapt what he's saying to help me explain art to my friends and family better? IDK... My luff loves to keep saying "I'm so bad at drawing that I drew a stick figure once and it fell over." Wait... wuh? But there are times he's like: "I wish I could draw..." And I'm over here screaming, "BUT YOU CAN IF YOU PUT YOUR MIND TO IT!!!" XD Everyone starts somewhere. You don't have to be a 5 year old prodigy! You can suddenly take up drawing at the age of 50+... it doesn't matter as long as you start and continue to enjoy what you do! Don't give up! I keep saying I'm bad at painting... but I have a few paintings. XD I plan on buying some canvases and trying a few things out. That's all that matters!
  • Videos like this are a godsend I’m so much better in just a week than i thought id be for like a month.
  • @doglover7162
Yo i have the biggest surge of motivation to do my sketches again but like speed sketches. Absolutely love this
  • @Strike562
sometimes it helps to draw where the lights are hitting in order to help figure out where shadows go. Lineart isnt always super important either! If you like your sketch enough you can just clean it up via erasing unwanted lines or messy sections. ALSO if you can picture shapes especially 3d shapes you can use those to help with shading as well :) Tracing can also help with line art!
  • @spyrolover24
Love this. I've been wanting someone to help me learn to draw better. I can draw ok traditionally. But it's been a while. I got a graphics monitor and have yet to really do any drawings. Seeing this video brings me all sorts of joy.
  • @kittyrabies
ive always wanted to draw my fursona, but i never quite figured out how to draw furry art so i have been stuck with making him in picrew/everskies/gacha etc or just drawing him with his TV mask on, until i found this. thank u!
