That Darkseid Invasion set with the Javelin should have made the top 10! One of my absolute favorites!

I can’t believe it’s been 10 years since LEGO DC first came out. I still remember getting the Superman Lex Luthor mech and being super excited to build it.

I just want to say, thank you Ashnflash for being the only Lego Youtuber to really cover the DC sets. They are my main focus of sets and I own 95% of them. It’s great because you are a fellow Canadian who cares about them like I do and always makes great rant videos that describes my frustrations aswell. Lego has been releasing great DC sets in the last 6 months and if the Tower of Fate rumour is true, this year should be good too. Edit: I just ordered the 2013 Arkham (one of the few sets I’m missing) on bricklink yesterday so I’m pretty hyped
  • Cool list, but I think the Javelin and the Cyborg Helicopter sets deserved to be on this list. They gave us some of the most unique builds and figures from the entire theme imo.

What is your favourite DC Super Heroes sets?
  • I just got the original 2006 Batcave today. It’s definitely my favorite set I’ve collected.

Interesting list. If it were my list I would've also included these ones that have both solid builds and figures: - 76096: Krypto Team-Up with Lobo's bike. - 76097: Lex Luthor's mech. I would take this over the one you chose, even if you throw out Batman. - 76120: Batwing with Shazam & Gordon. Best Batwing reminiscent of the '89 movie, great GCPD car. - 76149: 1989 Batmobile takes the 👑. I loved the 2018 wave of JLA sets if it wasn't obvious. Honestly, Lego has improved so much with time that I also have to mention that I love and own most of the modern minifig scale (non 4+) batmobiles since the Kryptonite Interceptor (Batman v Superman).

Expect the tower of fate to be number 1 Ashnflash said..

You should do this again, but with your top 20+ DC Superheroes minifigures!

I hope they give us a DC equivalent of the Daily Bugle… even if it’s the millionth Batman related set I’ll take it.
  • Cool list, a prove that DC haves so many potential, so good constructions and so many excellent minifigures that we didn't gave their respective value before. This is the year we have to redeem with LEGO DC and demonstrate our interest in this line. My own top list according to the sets I've been getting through the years are: 1.- Black Manta Deep Sea Strike (2015) 2.- Darkside Invasion (2015) 3.- Speed Force Freeze Pursuit (2018) 4.- Batcave Clayface Invasion (2019) 5.- Brainiac Attack (2015) 6.- Killer Croc Sewer Smash (2016) 7.- Lex Luthor Mech Takedown (2018) 8.- Gorilla Grodd Goes Bananas (2015) 9.- Batwing and The Riddler Heist (2019) 10.- Wonder Woman Warrior Battle (2017) Honorable mentions to Green Lantern vs. Sinestro (2015), The Batboat Harbor Pursuit (2015), Scarecrow Harvest of Fear (2016), Mobile Bat Base (2020) and Batsub and the Underwater Clash (2019).

The Lazarus pit had the entire Al Ghul family in it. I found that cool that it came with a complete Bat/Al Ghul family.
  • The Arkham Asylum is definately the best set out there! It holds up just fine today and will forever be impressive looking. I have been able to make it from my own parts collection with a few small changes and since then; I've expanded it to be 4x the size. It's now on hinges so it's an enclosed building but if you want to play with it than you can swing the sides to make 1 very long facade! :)

I see the joker funhouse on the thumbnail and I couldn’t be happier, I used to be a huge Batman fan and that’s one of my favorite sets ever (mostly due to nostalgia but still, a great set nonetheless)
  • @Hengrip
Man I completely agree on that last one, that set completed my Harley collection as it's the only way to get her as Harleen, I remember skipping it as a kid and I felt horrible for years, thanks for making me remember one of my biggest accomplishments...
  • @TheBrickHaven
It makes me sad that these aren’t available anymore
  • @Azaaniaaa
I remember when I was a kid I bought the Superman Lex Luthor 2012 mech like 2 days before it retired. When I got back from Toys R Us and I opened up the box, the instructions, the little comic books they used to include with super hero sets, and minifigs weren’t there. We went to exchange it, but by then the set retired. I still get a little sad whenever I think about it to this day 😔.
  • @Sup3r10n
When you added the Man of Steel set, that just took me back to memory lane (pun not intended). It was the only MoS set that I owned, but I loved it so much, especially that armored Zod figure. Edit: I should've also mentioned the Lex mech, that was a gift that I got from my birthday when I was younger. I was a Superman fan (still am) and Lego making a set with him was a dream come true.
  • I think the main reason we got most DC sets was for the mini figs. Gorilla Grodd, Captain Cold, Darkseid, Starfire, Beast Boy and some others were the main reason we bought these sets
