  • This game launched when I was suffering extreme health issues and honestly wasn’t sure if I was going to survive 2023. I had pre-ordered this game so I would have something to look forwards to between hospital visits. Nearly one year later, I’m basically a brand new person with a second chance at life, and Tears of the Kingdom was with me the whole time. This game will forever remind me how lucky we all are to still be here today.
  • The best thing about Nintendo trailers is that they never exaggerate anything. What you see is exactly what you get. And all I'm seeing right here is perfection.

Hard to believe this trailer is one year old and the game is NEARLY the same age. This game was such a joy and I actually cant believe I was sitting there watching this one year ago. Happy birthday to that damn saxophone lol

When Ganondorf said. "Do not look away, you witness the Game of The Year's revival." It hit hard.
  • From “It’s dangerous to go alone” to “You are not alone” … right in the feels
  • Even though the game is 7 months old now I still get chills as the music kicks in when Link is diving. One of the best game trailers ever.
  • STOP I CAN NOT GET OVER THE FACT THAT THIS WAS MADE A YEAR AGO I LOVED THE GAME I STILL RAVE OVER IT

The composer deserves so much praise. That saxophone is incredible.

Even though this game didn't win goty, it doesn't change how much of a masterpiece this game is. For me, this is the game of the decade so far.

This game actually launched on the day where I had the worst panic attack of my entire life. My mental health was at an all time low and finally getting the game I had waited so many years for was the only thing I was happy about. When I finally got to my dad’s house, I was able to play the game with him watching. I just want to say this game might single-handedly be the reason I’m still here.

Almost 150-hours of gameplay later: I just watched this again and got chills at all the same places as the first viewing. This was my GOTY and is my favorite game of all time.

The day that TotK came out, I drove to one of my best friends' house to experience the game for the first time together. On the way there I drove with my windows down blasting this trailer's music as loud as my car could handle and just shaking with excitement. That was one of my best days in recent memory and this music will always give me chills as I remember it.

i love how the newer heroes like sidon and riju are playing a more important part in the story, it’s like a new generation of champions coming together
  • @Suiteren.
It’s been a year…..the Totk hype made feb (second trailer) march (gameplay demo) April (final trailer and YouTubers playing early) may (release) June (beat the game) it makes me nostalgic for something that happened only a year ago!
  • two weeks until this is a year old, i miss that time of my life so badly
  • @napilopez
Now that the game is out. I cant believe how much TotK makes BotW feel like a first draft. What an absolute masterclass.
  • Once that classic zelda theme song hit full throttle i couldn't help but smile from ear to ear.

6 months has passed and still, whenever I watch this trailer, I can't hold back my man tears. This is just so beautiful. It's a glorious celebration of all the Zelda games that we had since day one.
