Marvel Rivals Is NOT What I Expected...

Team Fortress 2 music slaps so hard. Marvel Rivals is the newest Hero Shooter on the horizon and I was not expecting it to be as fun as it is. Though it remains to be seen how the game will be monetized, if the focus is on cosmetics and they listen to player feedback, Marvel Rivals could become a staple of the Hero Shooter Genre. Also, just to be clear, I was not told I couldn't criticize the game in this video and I criticized what parts I felt needed it. Rivals is proving that the competitive multiplayer space does indeed have room for new titles. Just gotta get the execution right.

OVERWATCH IS COOKED (Again)

I'm really hoping for Wolverine in this game. I can imagine him being a regenerating tank, causing bleeds, and dragging people around.

The third survey they sent in the beta asks what we'd like to see and there's an option for all new heroes be available for free, so if enough people say it the developers might actually listen

people complaining that this is an overwatch rip off is like calling lies of P a darks souls rip off

That fact that he's talking about this game, overwatch, and other hero shooters, while using the music from TF2, the father of hero shooters, is perfect

For the voice actors they got all the actors from the 2000s shows. PEAK.

I think that if they do have unlockable heroes, I won't mind if they do something like what smite did, where you pay a flat 20-30 dollars and then you get every hero they ever release for the game, essentially turning it into a mid priced game with some purchasable cosmetics. So long as I have an option to not always be grinding the new heroes I'll be happy.

The irony of the TF2 music at the start isn't lost on me.

That "goo" attack from Hulk is actually his thunder clap, which is cool as fuck. Asides from that, he should get an aoe smash attack if he doesn't already have one
