My childhood admiration for 90s X-Men did provide a foundation for appreciating the intricate narratives of works such as Foundation, The Three-Body Problem, Dark, Dr. Who, and even Avengers: Endgame. In fact, the themes of many of my favorite stories were initially introduced in a way I understood, through X-Men.
