  • 🔻Check out the video on my second visit to the maid cafe after the pandemic! (Super Premium Maid Chimu) https://youtu.be/iC2EZ_dSMYE Mizukin is eternally 17 years old, but she celebrated her 15th anniversary as a maid in 2023💖 An English menu is provided, and there are maids who can speak English or other languages. Many masters and princesses don't speak Japanese, so it's not a problem ☺️✨ If you visit @homecafe and your maid only speaks Japanese, you may need to communicate with her through gestures, but that should be a fun experience as well🫶🏻💓 Kyun!! BTW, is there anyone who can explain the Japanese word "萌え(moe)" in a foreign langu

Mizukin is a "premium maid." She has also been part of their overseas representative team since at least 2018. Meaning that if @home is booked overseas (usually conventions) she is there along with the founder Hitomi and one other (usually Chimu, during the time that I've been following the cafe). Around or just after March 13th, at least some of the maids no longer wear masks as Japan's government recommendations were updated to be "up to the individual" for the most part. (businesses can still mandate them if they want). When visiting, keep in mind they have 3 different locations in Akihabara alone, with 8 different "mansions" among those. At 38 seconds, you actually see the main building to the left of the Galleria place. It has 5 floors, each with different maids. The Cultures Zone building has a Left and Right "mansion", also with all different maids. Then there is also one in the Don Quijote in Akihabara. If you already have a favorite or mizukin won you over and you want to see her, she can be working in any one of those on a given day. Best way to see where a maid is working on any given day is to either follow their twitter, or check on the @home website. The note on reservations is also a bit misleading. If there is a special event going on, or one/multiple of the more popular maids are working the same "mansion" they will only do entry by reservation. You can check to see if they are doing reservation only on the main @home twitter. The envelope you got with the cheki/picture is only given on your first visit to my knowledge. On repeat visits, they just give you the cheki as is, once they are done decorating it. You can also get "collection cheki" which is a random picture of just the maid, but they decorate it entirely in front of you, giving you a dedicated minute or so to talk to them where they are normally running around serving food, clearing tables, etc. They used to do games, but it seems they replaced those with the collection cheki option when covid hit. Also, I would recommend going with at least 1 friend, but the bigger group the better as you will have more opportunity to actively talk to the maids, especially if each of you get cheki with/of them as they dedicate some time to that customer specifically when giving the cheki to them.

Akihabara is a heaven for anime fans and introverts The staffs in maid cafe are all working hard to give the best smile and best services to customers I respect them If I have chance to visit "home" at Akihabara, I want to say this to "fairies" : Always stay healthy and sleep tight

Talk about joy, positivity and energy overload! If we could tap all that energy, we'd have renewable energy for generations to come! 😁
