I'm Molly, a typical sushi, makeup, and fashion loving millennial girl who just so happens to be blind! I was diagnosed with Retinitis Pigmentosa at just 4 years old and began public speaking at age 5. I started just doing motivational speaking, but now I make videos and even model! Even though I can’t see, I know that there are bright spots in everything we face. Let’s find them together. 💕

Molly's future video: doing all the things i haven't done due to being blind!

It would be cool to see a video of 9 things you’ve gotten to do because you’re blind. It would be cool to see both perspectives.
  • My friend in high school was legally blind, but they still made her attend drivers education in school. She broke down and cried almost every class. It was terrible.
  • Fun fact: Harry Potter was one of the only series available in braille at the same time as it was in print. #brailleWin

As a legally blind subscriber, I would love a video of you trying out several video games made for the blind! There are a lot more options these days but I have never tried any myself.

"I never went Snowboarding" is such a Canadian statement. My initial thought was, "who has?"
  • I am 26 and I reread my books for "children" often. Authors write for their stories to be enjoyed, it doesn't matter what age you are that you enjoy them at.

I have a disability that makes it hard for me to walk. Rather than say, "I don't want to" instead I say, "it has dropped down the list of priorities! I'll do it some day, just have more important things to do now."

Hey I’m 29 and I STILL listen to Harry Potter on audible. I’ve relistened to it probably a dozen times. Go for it if you want to! Keep in mind the first two books are geared towards kids, so it gets better as you go!
  • As a 30 year old who did not read Harry Potter until I was 29 (because I grew up thinking it was “dumb”) I highly recommend joining the late-to-the-party crew. The audiobooks are great and I’m now a grown adult always looking for an excuse to talk Harry Potter :)

You're definitely not missing out on cursive. The most annoying part to me is that I still write it almost exactly as we learned in school but a lot of people still have a hard time reading it lol
  • It's never too late to read a good book no matter if it's a kids book or not. And the books cover so much more of Harry's journey than the movies could show. My favorite genre is teen/young adult and I'm in my 30's.

I’m 21, and currently reading Harry Potter cause growing up, we didn’t had the money to buy the books 😭 IT’S NEVER TOO LATE!
  • I read Harry Potter for the first time when I was 25. Totally worth it. Also, I still read junior fiction as a grown woman because why the heck not. There are so many good stories out there and it makes no sense to say only kids can have them.
  • “He was very cool, I was very bullied” 😂😭 i’m sorry but the way you said that was funny .
  • @ginpye2002
Me after seeing the first 3 things she’s never done: “Molly, I’m fully sighted and haven’t done those either hahaha!” (for different reasons, of course, I just thought that was funny)
  • @Aceamzing
I would absolutely watch a series where Molly plays videos games or reads harry potter.
  • @JuMixBoox
One hundred percent would love a video of you trying to play video games. Because it would be cool to see you have that fun, but also because I can't really picture how that would work and would love to get educated.

It’s never a bad thing to go back and catch up! I spent my childhood clinically depressed and missed out on a lot of normal kid activities because I didn’t have the energy for them or was too sad to leave my room. Now that I’m older, I’ve realized its important to get to some of those developmental moments. While we can’t back and do anything different, we can take advantage of what we have now. We can start chipping away at our lists together! Love you girl!
