Despite a raft of sanctions against Russia, especially its lucrative fossil fuel sector, the European Union is still paying billions to that country for energy. Legal loopholes are allowing barrel after barrel of oil into the bloc, even as Brussels sends aid money to Ukraine. Are more sanctions necessary?

    They don’t sell crude oil. They sell good old fashioned Russian oil and the other countries act just like in-betweens getting a very small commission for reselling it as their own

    DW news and where it can be find cheaper? In USA? Russia is the closest country with oil so yes it’s logical that we will buy from them.
