Very sorry for the loss of your mother man. I'm also part of that unfortunate club. Having a healthy perspective on it makes such a difference. Keep the good stuff coming my friend.

Doctor ER: So sorry to hear you lost your Mom to cancer. I just lost my wife to early onset Alzheimer’s on March 6th. She was 67 years old. The dementia began before Covid and her father died of the same disease 19 years ago. Hoping ALZ and cancer are cured….soon!

I’ve had surgery 3/4 times: - stitches on my face from a bad dog bite when I was 3 - spinal fusion surgery to fix my spine due to Scoliosis, including the removal of a rib when I was 14 - A week after my back surgery, I had to go back into the OR due to fluid building up in my side - Wisdom teeth removal; they were coming in sideways and had to be cracked to be taken out

I had a partial hysterectomy at the age of 34. I think the doctors were fine with my request, because I’ve had epilepsy my entire life. Meaning… getting pregnant with my meds would kill the kid. I was up and moving the next day after the surgery. People said it could take six weeks to heal. It went quite well for me though.
