  • Ken Levine said it best: games that try to be too realistic age the worst. A definitive art style is what keeps a game timeless visually

"You don't even have visible hands holding onto your sword. Buuut this is reminiscent of King's Field" I'm not sure where you pulled this out from or why. King's Field clearly models your entire arm when you swing your sword, regardless of if you're looking at the first KF game or the last one.

That is not a moon in the sky that is a Neuron Star. I've played and completed it 100% absolutely love this game but idk how you came away from it thinking that is a moon when several times the game mentions Neuron Stars and how the one that gives the Oneiric Isles it's day and night cycle just happens to be a solitary red one. I love this game. It is amazing. Great video!

I've had my eye on this one for a little bit, I think I'm gonna give it a go.

I played through this recently. I played through most if not pretty much all of the content. I liked a lot about it. Especially the art and world, the music and atmosphere are really good. Exploration is fun, I like the skill checks. I can accept the limited combat system. But man is the combat is way too easy. Even playing a weaker build it's easy. You start one shotting most enemies. They also give you way too many potions. There was only really like 1-2 enemies that could maybe be considered a boss fight and it was easy. The player's dialogue can be a little weird at times. It is the most fun in the first like 10 hours. I dont think Morrowind is the best comparison. It did have a nice ending for me at least.

Great video. Been waiting for one to pop up about this game after it's 1.0 launch. I was wary of the hype, but this video made me really excited for the game.
  • RPG is so back We will finally have creative worlds and RPG mechanics, as well as a dope soundtrack

I kept hearing how much this game was like Morrowind so I decided to give it a try. Good game so far, but honestly it's more like KingsField than anything, you can't even properly loot corpses (to be fair, it seems the last game the devil made DIRECTLY sites King's Field as an inspiration so...)

I play through this on release, basically did all the side content too. I dunno if 40 hours is terribly accurate on playtime, maybe 20(at a leisurely pace). That being said, I very much enjoyed the game, it was a super fun and surreal world to explore.

eyy, new Tonesville. You got me into Outward, and it became my favorite game. I'll take your word on this and pick it up!
  • In my opinion, Sable is a perfect example of small team and a dream style of game development. Excellent game and very pretty in its own unique way.

You lost me at "Reddit". That's like an anti-endorsement.

They did have access to the latest version of Unreal Engine since like 1996 and Unreal looked as realistic as it was possible back then.
