Drugs, crime, and homelessness are taking over much of San Francisco – although billions are being spent toward a solution, the city's problems are compounding.

A recent report from the University of California San Francisco shows that California accounts for one-third of all homeless people in the U.S.

"People are just free to destroy their lives out in the open," said one local. "Crack, meth – I see it seven days a week."

If this is Newsom's vision for California, i'm scared to see his vision for America. Keep that man away from the white house.

I lived in Shenzhen, China for 5 years, never witnessed a single crime, a single drug related incident, never felt unsafe walking home at night. City was spotless, even the poor neighborhoods were cleaned up and kept beautiful by the residents. Moving to the Bay Area has been a culture shock for me!

San Francisco: "We've tried everything except holding people accountable and nothing is working"

Hearing Alioto admit they made BAD DECISIONS is priceless. She was definitely part of the orchestrators of what contributed to San Francisco's demise.

Fire all your city council and the Mayor.

At the very least, I now grasp the concept of leverage. Creating wealth and financial freedom isn't as tough as many people believe. Building wealth and remaining financially stable indefinitely is a lot easier with the appropriate information. Participating in financial programs and products is the only true approach to make a high income and remain affluent indefinitely.

Everyone does not "deserve respect", sir. Respect is EARNED.

All over the Country not just California 💊

Nordstrom, Old Navy, Home Depot, Safeway, and Office Depot have all left. That happens when you have "more thieves than customers."

Moving back home after living in Singapore for college, was a little bit of a culture shock. Almost forgot that homeless people actually exist. Maybe if dealers were executed, there would be less supply on the streets. I can't even walk to the grocery store 10 min away without stepping over people passed out right in the middle of the sidewalk.

Do we really believe billions are being spent to "find a solution" and they just can't find one? C'mon

Some non profits are corrupt. A lot of the money going to fight homelessness and drug addiction is going straight into some people's pockets.

Went to SF a month ago. The sidewalks had human waste and we saw drug use. 7 years ago it wasn’t so frightful. The city is gone taken over by druggies. I had in the past enjoyed its museums, parks, cathedrals, and cultural areas. Very sad and unsafe.

Freedom has it's limit! Some people are too far gone to be saved! The sooner we realize that, the sooner we can help those who want to be helped.

It’s very sad to see this beautiful city changing to this miserable situation 😢😢😢

“Have the guts to undo it.” Yep, she’s absolutely right. Gotta change the outdated policies.

You'd be surprised how many "non-profits" make a profit!

The whole parking lot had broken windows... that right there is a scary thing to imagine. Its getting too close to home and needs to be addressed before people start getting violent

Without law and order, there is total chaos. Bad choices and failed policies by the government that is supposed to serve and protect has caused a mega nightmare!
