Is it possible to love an inanimate object this much ... Ok but for serious the Phantom 4 is an amazing piece of equipment . I had the opportunity to check this bad boy out and can't really find anything that makes me feel like I wasted any money at all! The phantom 4 stands out and above any and all other drones/quadcopters I have flown to date. Please take some time to watch my video review and sample files so you can get a better understanding. Below are some PROS/CONS to this amazing piece of equipment (your wife may call it a toy ,like mine did, but rest assured this is a tool)

PROS:
-RTF (Ready to Fly) - The DJI Phantom 4 comes ready to fly without the need to purchase any additional equipment (assuming you have a smart device like ipad, iphone or other supported device ...I suggest using an Apple product as that is what it was built for )

- Easy to fly and to learn . There is built in simulator software in the app that will connect with the controller and allow you to fly around in a simulated environment all before you have even left the ground.

-This has obstacle avoidance with 4 camera's to help it see where it is at , 2 sonar sensors as well !

-Comes with its own carrying case so there is no need to purchase one right away ( I do suggest you do eventually ) and it stores all your equipment and 2 extra batteries and will fit on any airplane carry on.

-Economical - Some may say that $1400 (current price as of 7.26.16) is a lot to spend but when you think about the fact that you are getting a 4k camera with a stabilizer that also fly's semi autonomously ...its a steal ! I priced out building a homemade rig similarly and it was well over $2200 so this is a great price for someone just getting into the hobby and drone photography .

-Comes with extra props (in case you break one )

-The props are easy to put on and will not fly off

-25-28+ Minutes of flight ! This is pretty much unheard of ( I personally have not run a full battery from 100-10% yet as I haven't needed that much time in the air ..but i have at least 22 min with plenty of flight time left)

-Flying Camera with fully adjustable settings such as ISO, shutter speed , grid view, ect (see specs below ) You can use it almost as a tripod in the sky!

-The activetrack function allows you to follow objects at a pretty decent speed ( tested with my car and at 30 mph it kept up )

-SPORT Mode - Ok this is one of the best features and funnest if you ask me...the Phantom 4 has the ability to travel at speeds up to 45mph which is really freakin fast and really freakin fun !

-GLONAS and regular GPS so you have plenty of gps signals to connect to and keep you level and on point

Cons:

-Truly I have yet to find anything that I would call a "con" other than the fact that the batteries are different from other models

Overall I am quite impressed with the Phantom 4 and I have to say that if you are not sure about upgrading from your phantom 3...DO IT!! Seriously I am so glad I did.

I do need to mention I received a discount on this in exchange for an honest and unbiased review.
