A World Without Water (Global Warming Documentary)

8 year old Vanessa and her parents have to walk almost a mile down the cliffs of El Alto in Bolivia to collect water from an unreliable well every day. Yet, they live just a few hundred metres from their city's main water treatment plant and can see millions of gallons just beyond the barbed wire fence. They are victims of waters increasing commodification.
The struggle for this precious resource and the battle for its ownership is explored through compelling stories of families living in Bolivia, Detroit, Dar Es Salaam and Rajestan. As the background to these stories we explore the conflicts over the future of water and see how even those living in the relatively water-rich UK hold the survival of the planet in our hands.

Water...the most basic thing every human should have besides food, clothing & shelter...Yet people complain every day about the dumbest shit...
-
How is it that rich countries can spend billions on the most irrelevant things but can't fix such issues. i mean millions are spent on wars, internet, cars, planes, clothes .... and somewhere in the world they can't drink clean water.
-
this is so sad to see the little girl cry all because they have no water 😞
-
That's the worst, to be taunted by a building next door with thousands of gallons of water. People take water for granted here in the U.S.
-
Typical spokesperson for a company at fault. Blame other things, deflect. They simply don't care. As long as it's providing money they don't give a shit.
-
I was so mad this morning because my phone didn't charge over night. Wow, I'm a spoiled brat.
-
Am glad am subscribed to this channel..makes me almost cry every moment..humanity is dead😪

Its sad how we take the smallest things for granted, like water and food. For us its a simple few steps to the kitchen, but for these people it can be over an hour and even then the water is dirty and contaminated with diseases. Bless these people, I hope they live a happy life despise the conditions they live in.

And here i'm complaining about slow wifi internet. When i watch such docu's it make me appreciate the little simple basic things in life. shelter, water, clothing, education, transport, food. And all these should be a right/given to every child born in this world.

Even if agriculture uses more water than coco cola, agriculture is literally people's livelihood to provide the basic necessities of life - food, shelter and much more Coke is not a basic necessity, it's the most widely used unnecessary poison in human history
-
This is insane...Water is life...how on earth do we fix this?
-
Man the ending of this video was so good. I am so happy for that family man.
-
Omg I'm crying with her. I'm praying for all of you. How can some people be so selfish. Would it kill you to share? Monsters
-
This is so very sad my heart breaks for that little girl,I hope someone helps then.
-
Omg I have NO respect for Coca Cola anymore.. their drinks are disgusting anyway. I haven't drank any in years.
-
Yeah - because sugary drinks are so much more important than food grown by farmers or their kids being able to have a glass of water. GREED.
-
This isn't true in Bolivia anymore, not after the water wars. Now water is publicly owned.
-
This is so heart breaking. May God bless you all!! Thank you for the people who are trying to help the less fortunate.
-
It is a disgrace to humans that we treat each other this way. So heartbreaking. Hasn't anything been done to help rectify the problem? Is the problem still present? I'm not sure how long ago this video was made so I'm assuming things have improved.
