Hershey is my home park for the past 15 years. I almost never go when the water park is closed because the lines are always too long for the coasters, even at the start of the day. During the summer season, the water park draws huge crowds, especially on hot days, which results in the shortest lines for the coasters. I almost exclusively go on Sunday morning, leave by 4 PM and rarely wait in lines more than 10 minutes for each ride. There are certain coasters you want to ride first thing in the AM since they tend to get and maintain long lines throughout the day. They are Comet, Great Bear, Fahrenheit and Laff Trakk if you want the family coaster. Rides like Canymonium, Skyrush, and WCR get longer lines in the AM and have slower traffic during the middle of the day. Stormrunner and Lightning Racer tend to have short lines in the AM and get longer in the PM. Mothers day and fathers day are also slow. Rainy days can also be good as there are other forms of entertainment in the Hershey area. Don't even bother with the HP app for wait times, they are never even close to correct.
  • My top favorite ride at Hersheypark is Wildcat's Revenge. I have several favorite rides I like to go on when I'm at the park. My favorite ride below Wildcat's Revenge is Skyrush with its new restraints and new theming.

You rock Brandon! Miss the days of working with ya at KI at good ol white water canyon. Taking the kids to KI at the end of May they are pretty excited.
  • @sendyboi7028
Skyrush hauls at night, I waited a station wait and got on the next train last night at passholder night, best in the park

Thanks for the video! SDC employee benefits includes Hersheypark ‘24-‘26. This video will help us maximize our time which ever year we go.

Candymonium is my favorite at Hershey, because the B&M Hyper model is frickin' amazing. Mini Hyper Jr Giga. 167ft tall 157ft drop with the Mantis first drop (steeper) and color scheme. This channel is very entertaining.

Nice I'm visiting Hershey next month my first visit since 2019. I plan on riding the new coasters they added since then and plan to ride the coasters I missed in my 2019 visit.

Very good video- few comments If you have sweet start, you have to be at the park 100 minutes before official opening. Consider going if the weather is terrible you might get lucky and have an empty park The water park is great but it’s insanely busy and be aware of lines for a lazy river! The water park is stressful on a weekend. While I’m too cheap to buy fast track I do recommend on weekends from Memorial to Labor Day Lightening racer while fun needs to be removed for more water park stuff Do check if the giant center is having an event and avoid the park those days Would say you need three days if you value the water park and want re rides without rushing
  • @itsKegger
Perfectly timed video because I'm planning a trip here in June! And will be going during the week so hopefully crowds are lower
  • Going for the first time in July. We're a family of 4 and we're going on a Wednesday and Thursday. Hoping we get to do everything.

The lines for Cupfusion, Fahrenheit, and LaffTrakk are nightmares because the ride capacity on those is terrible. Comet is also long since it's probably the best coaster little kids can ride. Most of the other lines are okay unless it's super busy. WCR and Candy are popular, but the lines move pretty fast if they're running all the trains. The food lines vary a lot - Chick-Fil-A has a terrible line. I find smaller places and places closer to the entrance have shorter lines. For example, when both are open, the Famous Nathan's near the entrance has a MUCH shorter line than the one in the waterpark. I think summer weekdays are better than May/September, because they have more staff to run more rides and run more trains, and the waterpark splits the crowd.
  • Favorite coaster is Thigh Crush. Oops, new restraints. Yay! Can't wait to try them out. WCR is meh, but maybe I've been spoiled by SteVe and IG.

I hear that staying at the on site Hershey hotels also offers admission to the nearby Hershey Gardens and Hershey Story Museum. Plus an additional hour of park time added to the two free hours of park time before closing on the evening before your visit. I am hoping to stay at the Hershey Lodge during my visit to the park (whenever that will be).

There is a tram you can take from the parking lot over to near the entrance
