Framing 10/10! But because you asked - you have to flash window/door frames on all 4 sides usually 3" on the sheathing and 3" onto the frame. Then install the windows with calking all around, but over hang the frame so it clears your siding. Then install counter flashing and then your finish siding. Water is going to come off the window and get between your siding.

Okay i FINALLY understand how to build a house. Its so much easier to understand each step at a smaller scale. Thank you for showing all the details!!
-
You and your wife did an outstanding job..
-
This is the first time i really enjoyed watching a video.. family projects are the best, the time spent with your family is priceless,a forever memory, your kid will talk about this beautiful experience in 60 50 30 years from now,15,000 is nothing for what you're getting back May God bless your life my brother, your family.
-
I'm pretty sure you built that better then most actual homes that are built these days. Great job!!!!!!!!!
-
Whose husband is out just building little homes and has a neighbor that knows how to build little homes. This is Bob the builder world❤❤
-
You did good! Nice work. I am a retired carpenter. Enjoy.
-
I was impressed that your wife, neighbor & son all helped. Even your dogs made an appearance. I now have an appreciation for all that goes into building even a small space. Everything you did was driven by quality and excellence. My dream is to live in a tree house designed by Pete Nelson.

Absolutely incredible! I was mesmerized the entire video. You, sir, are a top tier, A+ class, manly man. The level of detail, the ethic, discipline, the wife, kid, neighbor, dog, all just signifies a matured well-developed individual. Superb job. Cheers.

This is absolutely beautiful! And such a lovely neighbor! I enjoyed watching the process from start to finish. You all did a wonderful job. I want a tiny home gym and office! 😁 I also see you have videos of building mini tiny homes for those without a place to call home (headed to watch those next 🤭) May God continue to bless you, your wife, son, and doggie individually and collectively. 😇🙏🏾 Take care ❤

This was fascinating to watch, even inspiring for someone like me who has no practical knowledge about construction. Thanks for sharing :)
-
Next time you install windows think about putting shims on bottom plate to give space for insulation.
-
That space could make an awesome home office!
-
This would a badass music production space. Throw some soundproofing in there and it'd be awesome.
-
My dad made a tiny home for me but he had someone build the framework and just did the internals. I'm going to show this video to him. ;)
-
I like it. It came out great. I personally wouldn’t have put the rack in there because it looks too tight and will probably be a pain to put on the plates on the barbell.
-
17 minutes in, and im so amazed that it got me wanting to give it a try
-
Aww, I was actually looking forward to a nighttime view so i could see the LED lights for the railing. It looks great and made me want to build one for myself! Thanks for the video with good details of products used and process of build. A+++
-
I like the railing. Stops anyone from falling 6 inches to their death. Safety first!

Best neighbor ever!
