Some of y’all are roasting him for being honest about limitations and what he hasn’t tested the robot with. But I love the candor and anti-hype about his own product. It would be a better world if more of us were like that.
-
I love the idea of a house keeper robot especially for elder care.
-
It would be interesting to see a BOM, and how they justify the $25k price point for so few components.
-
Sir, I knew R2-D2. You are no R2-D2. All kidding aside, this is where home robotics starts.
-
Pair that with a neurolink, and it could help a lot of people out. Looks simple enough to control.
-
1 MAJOR problem: it can't handle stairs.
-
I will be forever grateful to you, you changed my entire life and I will continue to preach on your behalf for the whole world to hear you saved me from huge financial debt with just a small investment, thank you Nicole Miller.
-
Considering a young mid income, short term minded person with constant need for cash, are these still worth investing into? I am new to all of these and have incurred so much losses, I am beginning to think I am not doing what is good for me but just following people blindly.
-
Imagine making a video clip to show off the robot's skill set, only to realize that there are no useful skills exhibited.
-
Great questions but the answers sound a bit dodgy, only left me with more questions
-
25,000 for a toy? someone call 911, we have an ongoing robbery.
-
Robots like this are not for the general public, it's for an enthusiast...with money to burn. A year from now, I'd like to see this have much more AI capability, and a price tag of 10k.
-
Can it load dishes? NO. Can it unload dishes? NO. Can it load washing machine? NO. Can it unload washing machine? NO. Can it tie a garbage bag? NO. Can it take out trash? NO. So, what can it do exactly? It's a general robot by design; it can do anything you want! This guy is unbelievable. I can't deal with this non-sense. He's good at one thing though. He's good at answering questions without actually answering anything.
-
A roomba. On a stick. Let's hope it's smart enough to dodge dog poo
-
So far he has not identified anything practical it can do
-
This is really a wonderful toy & or home helper for the disabled & elderly. The price is a bad point though.
-
Running pictures to real good demonstrations to say I don't understand it can do anything
-
Show people how robot can do the laundry and cleaning, which is the basic house chores.
-
Not sure if I want to spend $25,000.00. compared to Optimus for $20,000.00. Unless I am smoking the same stuff as Judge McCormick
