Heard someone say she was lifeless. One learns to refrain from retaliation, as it only fuels the abuser’s aggression and incites further abusive conduct. She chose to remain still, to avoid triggering any additional reactions from him. Unfortunately, her reaction is a sign she has experienced this many times. Very sad..

The proof was him settling in less than 24 hours. No guilty person would have paid up that soon.
