I had Bells Palsy about the same time too, still ongoing and no improvement after 4 years. Thor is an inspiration and has helped me stay positive, thanks big manđź‘Ť

Heart breaks for the guy. Hope he recovers.
  • Stuff like this really makes you appreciate the privilege of good health. I once got black out drunk and somehow slept on my right hand while upright. I woke up with a phenomena called Saturday Night Palsy where my hand was paralysed and numb for about 2 months. My doctors had no idea what it was because it was so rare. It was a scary time in my life and made me appreciate so much. Fortunately, I got the feeling back over time and it’s practically back to normal. I hope Thor and anyone suffering something like this recovers. God bless

i had it for about 3 weeks or so. started with a pain behind my ear for about 6-7 days then i couldn't move my facial muscle properly. that when i realized what going on and started facial massaging to keep my muscle firm till the inflamed nerves healed and after 3-4 days started to slowly gain facial muscle control. i was fortunate to not be a long lasting problem wish everyone the best and recover quickly
  • Bell's Palsy is a weird thing... My father had it for a couple months when I was a kid, and then it went away. He got it again when I was in my 20's and it went away after a short time again. I hope it gets better for Thor!

Sorry to hear this. He seems like a great guy...

I had it when I were 18 for around 3 to 4 month, at first I thought it were a stroke so a bit of panic sets in. Mine were down to getting some kind of parasite off a field where I played football, so my brain went into protect mode, it's what the doc says. Hope he recovers from it.

I had bells palsy but mine went away after about a month. It takes so getting used to. Talking is a struggle all in itself sometimes with it. Along with the having a hard time eating sometimes and drooling. The biting your tongue part is the worst cause you can't feel where your tongue is in your mouth. Hopefully it will go away brother.

This was in 2017. He's still dealing with it more than 6 years later. I can't believe it :/

My Bells palsy lasted a month. My aunt had it from the time she was about 50 til she died at 71

God bless you, speedy recover. No woman beater should have to go through this
  • My dad had this condition. It lasted about 2 weeks and it was gone just as fast as it came on. My husband got this about 3 years ago and it lasted about a month. I have known a couple of older people that have had it for years. Nobody knows why you get it or really how. They told my dad that it was from cold hitting that side of his face. Who really knows.
  • He's had it for more then 3 years now. With all the advanced science in the medical field I'm surprised they don't have a treatment for that
