Here's 10 more things! A supplement to    • Tiny Glade - 40+ Building Tips, Trick...   so to speak. I wanted to get this video out quickly for the flying buttresses. I had only remembered about them after I was already done rendering the last video and few people found them hidden away in the description. However, the map that the video starts on is also a great showcase of the results you can get when you start putting some of the techniques from the last video together.

Chapter Markers:
0:00 Intro
3:26 Refresher on Blind Windows
5:06 Window with Flowerbox and Shutters
5:56 Half-Timbering?
6:40 A Rooftop for your consideration
7:38 Rectangular Flowerboxes "without" windows
8:42 Belltower?
9:09 Slope/Ramp instead of Stairs
10:48 Streetlamp Lantern on Rooftop/Paved Ground
12:50 Loose Lantern on Grass
13:50 Grass on a roof/"Artificial Plateau"
15:35 2 more Rooftops
19:50 Using the Path Brush Stairs as a Quarry
22:02 Thin Paths to create Cart Tracks
24:20 Flying Buttresses
33:26 Adding Floors to Ruins
35:55 Final Comments and Post-Credit Scene

If you're wondering how I have 13 chapters about things but mention 10 in the title, I count the rooftops as one and the the lanterns are part of the grass-rooftop interaction on my list.

A quick note: I have it on good authority that Blind Window Technology is on the chopping block. So play with it while the demo is out, there's a very good chance these techniques will be dead by 1.0! Previous video is here: https://youtu.be/Aiih7D9K9L8

Bro imagine this is literally just a demo mode and it's already complexity level! Cant wait for full!

Just discovered you a few days ago. You are now my go-to guy for all things Tiny Glade. So excited to see what you and your Discord pals come up with!

Thank you for all these new build tips. Not only is this game amazing but the community has been so clever and sweet and sharing! I love watching vids of tips n tricks and awesome builds but also watching people discover the game for the first time is do very wholesome! I’ve never quite heard the absolute delight of discovery and wonder in people with a new “ toy” before! Watching people who are artists and most who are just discovering that Anyone can be an artist has, as an art teacher, filled me with joy! While I love Devs that have been as hands on and in tune with the community as these devs are I have never before wanted to Meet Devs in real life to pick their brains as I do with this group. Just to learn all the thought processes that went into the design and to bask in the love you can just feel they lavished on this project.
  • really nice work. im gonna have to get on the tiny glad discord, we are all gonna go mad when the full game is finally released
  • @fran-chiri
This is insane! :face-red-heart-shape: so creative, love it!! All of your builds look so unique with the details. Thanks for sharing and have a lovely dayyy :virtualhug:
  • ok this is so sick, the timber work is next level ! i'm really amazed with what you achieve within the demo's basic tools, can't wait to see what you do on full release haha (could i suggest you to add auto subtitles please ? i could help, thanks !)

The "cart tracks" at 22:00 are actually more like automobile tracks. That kind of track is made by a vehicle with wheels on either side, but no horse in the middle. That makes perfect sense if (like with your wheelchair ramp) this build is supposed to be in a more modern setting, like an old restored country manor being serviced by cars and tractors, but for a Medieval setting, a single path would make more sense.

Where do you explain how to get the wooden frame man? I can't find it in the previous video or this one. Awesome tips by the way!
  • @aigaro9736
I hope you don't mind if I'll take this little build and recreate it in minecraft.
  • @DIS3Clips
Lovely vid! Any links to the official discord? Do you know if there will be more animals being generated other than sheeps? This game is awesome!!
  • @Octy_in_Boots
8:50 is it possible to hide lanterns within the pillars to create a hanging "bell" inside? I can see it in my mind's eye, but am not familiar enough with the limitations yet. It'd be like your well at the end of last video! Edit: I stand corrected. I saw the lantern issue at 11:00 and can now see that a bell tower is too tall to make that work. Ah well, back to the drawing board.

  • @yohane1910
Where is this "tiny glade discord" you talk about
  • @mattia1618
man you broke the game, my guess is that the developers will put some features that you showed/discovered in your videos in the final game.
