You know...maybe working on this story wasn't such a good idea because now, I'm even more aware of the escalator 😐

Every time I have to get on it, this video comes to mind...I'm doomed, aren't I?

My brother had his shoe caught in the escalator. It looked like a bite was taked out of it. What's funny is that it was at Disney Land and some girl was streaming how someone "pulled the emergency stop" and that she has to walk up. And that's after walking around all day at a theme park. I have never let my brother live this down :)

I'm also afraid of escalators I'm a cosplayer and I always imagine my cape or dress getting caught and destroyed or me just tripping on it and falling continuously. Even when I'm NOT in cosplay.

Escalators.. Pssshh Elevators are scary for me cause our power company is unreliable and the power could go out any second So I don't wanna risk getting trapped in an elevator

Finally someone who shares my fear. once i was out with friends and they were trying to get me to go down and they both went down but i was to scared and froze, blocking everyones path then a lady grabbed my hand and brought me down with her

i'm scared of escalators too every time i put a foot on it i feel like i'm gonna fall backwards and i end up getting stuck on the top floor :/

I'm only afraid of them for 2 reasons. 1. Heights 2. I've seen the videos where people.get crushed on the end by getting caught under the metal at the end

When I was younger, I was afraid of riding the escalator alone without holding someone's hand. One time my family went down without me and I was "stuck" at the top. Anyways, my dad ran up the elevator which went backwards and fell, getting an infection on his leg later.
