Rams took Super Bowl hangover to another level.

As a Jags fan, thank you for not bringing up Sacksonville. That sudden rise and fall still hurts me today 🥲

I knew the Colts would be on here. We still haven't recovered after the loss of Luck. As a fan base or a franchise.
  • The 2022 Titans Went from 12-5 and the first seed to 7-9 blowing a 4 game lead to the jaguars in the division
  • Personally I feel like the 2019-present Bears should be included as well. Had a surprising 2018 season going 12-4 and winning the NFC North, followed by the most embarrassing loss in team history. Had a lot of potential in front of us, and had the feeling that we would be a dominant force for years, back to back 8-8 seasons in 2019 and 2020 with another playoff appearance but the wheels really started to fall off as we slowly morphed into our old selves. 2021 and 2022 have been so disastrous, but I have confidence that Fields and company will soon lead us back to the glory days.

2 Vikings teams that deserve to be mentioned: 2001, the death of Korey Stringer, Denny Green lost the entire team and subsequently fired, the defense was atrocious, Carter and Moss argued a lot on the sidelines and then Mike Tice gets hired And then 2010, Favre plays the retirement game again and then completely struggles and immediately looks old and washed up. The Randy Moss trade that completely blew up in their face, Childress gets fired. The freaking Metrodome roof collapses, literally everything that could go wrong for the Vikings did go wrong and the franchise went into turmoil for a few years.

Another great gem from this platform. Just like T.O. said about Tony Romo: That’s my quarterback

9:26 Okay the collapse of that Titans team from 2003 to 2004 was mainly due to Eddie George getting released, and probably the biggest loss of all was Jevon Kearse leaving for the Eagles in free agency. Kearse was a leader on that defense and sort of the glue that held them together. Titans defense took a few years to rebuild themselves back up around Bullock, Haynesworth, and Vanden Bosch!

Good video. A few more that could be mentioned. 1980 Buccaneers- The feel good story and division champions of '79 returned to their last place ways at 5-10-1. 1990 Broncos - 11-5 conference champions in 1989 saw everything go wrong in '90 at 5-11. Also honorable mention (pre merger era) to the 1964 Giants. Three time conference champions from '61-'63 got old all at once and finished last at 2-10-2 in a seven team division. Best (or worst) "first to worst" team ever. Lol
  • The Raiders Organization 20 years later, still hasn't recovered from getting stomped in SB 37

I'm honestly glad that you guys made this video because yeah everybody always does like to talk about coming back from the worst of first but no this is really interesting seeing all the teams that went from first to last or went from great to suck since several the teams include on here went from second to last or from first to third, but anyways awesome stuff!

2016 giants weren’t first in their division though

10:50 My old friend Tony Graziani getting sacked. Tony went on to a great career in the Arena Football League with the LA Avengers and the Philadelphia Soul winning the AFL title with the latter. In 8 seasons he threw for over 23,000 yards and almost 500 TD's.

As a Cardinal fan, I have this: 1976 they go 10-4 and miss the playoffs. 1977 they went from 7-3 to losing the final 4 games to finish 7-7 then they lose the first 8 games in 1978 although they finish strong going 6-10. 1998 they make the playoffs for the first time in a non strike season since 1975 and even upset the Cowboys in the wild card game but the following season they go 6-10 and didn't have another winning season until 2008. Speaking of which... 2009 they go 10-6, win the division for the 2nd year in a row, and win the highest scoring playoff game in history only to go 5-11 and finish last in 2010. 2015 they go 13-3 and ended up in the NFC title game only to go 7-8-1 the following year. And finally, in 2021 they start the season 7-0, ended up going 11-6 and got completely embarrassed in the wild card game then in 2022 they're going to finish 4-13 and in dead last.

My heart still drops seeing the dez catch getting over turned

Thanks for the video NFL Throwback! I would say the Rams especially considering the fact they win the Super Bowl this past season had the biggest letdown.
