Talk’s Kevin O’Sullivan is joined by The Sun’s former royal editor Charlie Rae to discuss King Charles' ‘snub’ at Prince Harry.

The King has announced that Prince William will be made colonel-in-chief of the Army Air Corps - the regiment Prince Harry served with in Afghanistan.

It comes just a day after the King informed that his “full programme” meant a reunion was not possible during Harry’s UK trip to celebrate the Invictus Games.

Harry has travelled to London to mark the 10th anniversary of his Paralympic-style tournament for wounded veterans and serving military, but will not cap his visit by sitting down with his father.

Kev says: “This is the most sensational royal snub of all time!”

Charlie: “Anybody who thinks Harry is going to somehow come back into the royal fold… rubbish!”

Petulant Sussex team put out a statement about the King being too busy to see Harry. Rather than put out a statement about the Invictus Games.
  • I think it is absolutely fabulous that the King was "too busy" to see his traitorous, treacherous son. There is no reason on Earth (don't give me the crap about "oh but it is his son") why King Charles would want to see his son. The really sad thing is that Harry did this to his family all by himself. He also allowed his spider wife to trash the RF too. I think King Charles needs to go a step further now and finish them off completely. No titles, no status, no connection with the UK altogether. Harry did this, remember that.

How many times did Harry refuse to see his family. Did Harry fail th go see his grandmother while she eas dieing. Why would they show him any consideration at all.

No one gives a hoot about Harry. He wanted a private life. So now he’s got it. Let’s move on .

It's just fantastic!!! The King's middle finger to this traitorous slanderer is just so well deserved. Good on the King!!! And can the journalists finally give up on this ridiculous reconciliation stuff!! They know nothing and are now a laughing stock.

He cannot be trusted, not even for a minute. He just wanted a photo op as a prelude to his faux royal visit to Nigeria. Fn Grifter.
  • Harry and Meg stole thousands of dollars from the Invictus Games. That alone is enough to kick them out of England.

Well done to the British Ambassador in Nigeria for speaking out and telling the Nigerian government that this is a privacy tour not an official tour the King and British government does not endorse this trip and have nothing to do with it.

Harry hasn’t mellowed. His passive aggressive statement about his father being too busy to see him thus painting his father as heartless and Harry again the forever victim proves that. Harry wants back on daddy’s gravy train and back to the money

Why should he provide his son with relevance when he has done nothing but hurt and torture his family for the past 6 years.
  • It’s not a snub, it’s a sensible decision by the King in the interests of the country.
  • @advancedwatcher
He hasn't 'mellowed', he's just realised that clinging to the Royal Family is the only way he'll secure his income. Telling tales doesn't work when the whole world knows you're just making them up.

The King is ill. He has no energy, health or time for BS.

I think the only reason Harry wanted to see his dad was to reestablish that Royal connection so that when he heads off to Nigeria, his unofficial royal tour will feel more Royal.
  • Agree with King Charles! Harry deserves this after his disgusting behaviour!
  • @jaynhawk2724
Harry is getting what he deserves sadly. His own fault. Well done King Charles.
  • I don't think Harry has calmed his anger or softened his attitude. I think that he and his wife have realised their plan to destroy with hatred and entitlement and victim hood didn't work. So in order to secure their future in the wealthy manner they are accustomed too, they must ( or at least Harry must) be accepted back into the family fold. It's about inheritance. Nothing more! And I'm proud of our King. From Australia 🇦🇺

Good for King Charles! 👏👏👏🙌🙌🙌. Why give the traitors , the Markles, more ammunition to throw his family under the bus.
