About this video:
The patio and pots that we planted 6 weeks ago growing so well. I wanted to document my container combinations this year so that I can use them for reference next year when planting up my summer planters. Some of my pots are thriving and some have plants I likely wont use again. Come check and see how things are doing, and let me know how your planters are growing? Are you finding there are plants that you are loving, and are there some you wouldn't use in your containers again? Thanks for watching - Steph 🌱(Gardening in Massachusetts zone 6b). #gardening #plants #gardentour

  • @Linda_Reed
Love when you pull old footage to show us before & after. I know that can't be easy. Thank You. ❤
  • Love that “Annuals aren’t here for a long time, they’re here for a good time “ 🤩. What a beautiful garden Steph! Thanks for all the effort to include before and afters! I need to document my garden. I struggle with enough sun on a balcony. And probably not fertilizing enough.
  • I’ve been growing this latte petunia for many years now I have loved it each year. Each spring I think I’ll change it up but still I haven’t 😊 glad to hear some one else is appreciating this petunia as welll

  • @patoneal40
Thanks for the before and after. It’s nice to see what they looked like when planted. Mine would never look as lush as yours do. Just beautiful!

Hey Steph! Love seeing how your container combos are coming along…just gorgeous! Regarding the Osteospermum (African Daisy), they enjoy cooler weather. In the heat of the summer they don’t bloom much at all, but they’ll pick back up and start pushing blooms again once it starts cooling down again as it gets closer to fall. I have two of them that will bloom every so often if we have a cooler night, but they enjoy the spring and fall the best. At least you’ll have a beautiful show come this fall! 😊
  • @gertrudette
I agree with you on the begonia and that licorice plant is gorgeous

Beautiful Steph, the growth is amazing. Love this video. Thank you so much for sharing!!😊
  • Love that potted oregano, so pretty!! I tend to use vinca to fill in any bare spots in my full sun beds. Love the glossy green leaves, they’re super low maintenance, and they really start to fill in my once it gets hot and other plants may be looking a little tired. Beautiful potted combinations! Thanks for sharing.

LOVE your front door combo with the red fountain grass. It will transition beautifully into fall. Might steal it next year!

Thank you for sharing. I like to document my flowers, but sometimes I forget to.
  • You look absolutely stunning in your dress Steph 🥰 everything is looking gorgeous 🍃🌸🍃

I really enjoy your channel! It is awesome how you use all different colors and aren't afraid to mix them all! It is a great inspiration to me. Question: have you ever considered putting all of your annual pots on drip? It was definitely a garden game changer for me. I use a 1/2" buried black supply line all around my house (one in the front and one in the back) then run either black 1/4" from the local box store or PW super flexible tan 1/4" to each pot depending on the camouflage needed. 2 hose timers, a variety of emitters depending on watering needs, and bam, I have less worry from day to day. I still keep an eye when I fertilize each week so nothing gets ignored. I like your idea of "Fertilizer Friday "!
  • Hi Steph, as usual, your containers, and garden beds, are such a source of inspiration. Your ornamental oregano is so gorgeous. I had some luck last year growing it with the winter sowing method. I had hoped it would overwinter inside, but it was a no go. Yours is a reminder why I need to start more in 2025. And thanks, too, for the nudge about fertilizing annuals regularly! (I thought George did a great job with his video!)
