An Oklahoma meteorologist is clapping back at a viewer who body shamed her amid her battle with stage III breast cancer. Laura Mock works at Fox 23 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. After her diagnosis, she revealed her illness on air. She shaved her head and started wearing a wig. A viewer who apparently didn't realize she was undergoing chemotherapy sent a nasty email to the entire newsroom criticizing Mock's hair. Now, she is boldly snapping back.

Even if she didnt have cancer. Sending an email to the news room complaining about her wig is so over the top and its shows how empty that person is.

Like how bland is your life that you need to send an email to a whole news cast to address someone’s appearance.

I’ll never understand the people that send messages to news stations about anchor’s appearances. Weird.

I’m glad she CLAPPED BACK! People can be so mean. And as a matter of fact, when chemo patients start growing their hair back it comes in really thick and pretty! Not boosting anyone up, just saying that’s a fact and I can’t figure out why that is. But I’m glad it is!

I can't even tell it's a wig. She looks beautiful,

Entitled stalker behavior. That viewer is a major weirdo. 🙄

Now that person who sent the email needs to keep that same energy and write back with an apology for their ignorance. But they won't.

If don’t have anything nice to say keep it to yourself.

People can be cruel. She handled it well. I hope her the best through all of this.

My Grandma survived breast cancer many years ago. She had to go through Chemotherapy lose her hair and wore wigs. She's now been cancer free for 15 years and she was able to beat it.

She's so beautiful, I pray everything goes well for her❤
  • 🎉🎉🎉🎉 you go girl! My mother has gone through this twice with chemo. She’s a brave woman for standing up for herself when her body is battling such a difficult situation

"there will be good days and there will be bad days " just like the weather
  • This reminds me of this racist AH who trash talked a women wearing a head scarf, he called her every racist name in the book and she was NOT Muslim, she was wearing a head scarf because she lost all her hair due to chemo.

One of local news anchor women was a woman who workout and who I believed did competition shows. She was a very pretty woman, had poise, knew how to read and talk well during her broadcast. She got emails and tweets saying she looked too manish to be wearing dresses and showing off her arms and shoulders the way they did. People just don’t like seeing what they don’t understand, can’t achieve or genuinely dislike.

People can be so nasty, but this is a new low. Working while going through a major health issue is amazing as she is.
