Tennessee fans take down the goalposts after win vs. Alabama

I'm a huge Michigan fan, saying that this is probably the best game I've ever seen. The way this game ended, the fireworks, the passion and the fans is a textbook definition of what college football is all about. I think it gave true college football fans chills

I remember tearing the goalposts down in 1982 after we beat them, but that was very different. After that win we were 3--2-1 and finished at 6-5-1. That win was nice, but this one, with both teams being unbeaten was WAY better, and way more significant.

As a Georgia fan, feeling the pain of a losing streak to Alabama is very rough especially on the fan base. Tennessee, congrats! Celebrate this amazing season you guys are having and we’re looking forward to a great game in November

Last time UT beat Bama, I was in the hospital in Knoxville at the time. Everyone knew I was the biggest fan and I had been there for 3 months at the time. I was 17 at the time. I had decorated my hospital room in orange and white. The nurses went together and got the team to sign a bunch of stuff and they got me an orange and white mini-Christmas tree. That stuff and their friendship meant the world to me. The Vols helped me through a rough time and continue to help me through the same illness. God Bless Rocky Top!

Hats off to this tough TN team! They had a well deserved win. As an Alabama fan, I can’t say it didn’t hurt, cause it most certainly did, but the better team won this afternoon. Enjoy the win TN folks, and Roll Tide Roll!!!

An old friend of mine was a big Tennessee fan, he passed away 2 days after Christmas in 2020, he'd be so goddamn proud right now! Rip Wade! I know he's up there celebrating with some crangrape and vodka!

I’m a lifelong Ohio State fan (33 yrs old), and I have no stock in either Tennessee or Bama. But I was really pulling hard for Tennessee. Seeing the celebration literally brought tears to my eyes. Way to go Vols

God I am so hyped for Tennessee. I am from Lubbock Texas, but I lived in Tennessee for 5 years while I was enlisted, and man those people love football.
