I have 3 of these rods...for bass, crappie and catfishing.....these are the best overall fishing rods period hands down!!!!! Anyone who fishes with these rods for durability and sensitivity will NEVER be disappointed period!!!!

I like the action of the GX2 however , the guides won't stand up too braided line. I have had to replase the tip guide on any rod that has had three years of use. After it's fifth year my favorite 9 foot steelhead rod (I use it for channel catfish.) now needs several guides replaced. I expect a fishing rod to last longer than that.
