In an episode from the classic TV series, the New Adventures of Lois & Clark, science fiction writer HG Wells (portrayed by Terry Kiser, known for his role as Bernie in the eponymous Weekend at Bernie's) has a problem only the Man of Steel can solve.

(Also this was sort of an experiment, with mixed results...)

Everything changed the second Wells said he knows Clark is Superman.
