This was by far the most difficult video to make/upload. It took over a month to get it on YouTube without being blocked. Enjoy! Hopefully I got all the scenes, if not then oh well I’m not going to take a chance to fix it and reupload just to get blocked for the 27th time😂

Ian McDiarmid clearly having the time of his life in the role.
-
The fact that Ian has been Palpatine from the 80s to now is very impressive
-
27:44 Palpatine: "now lay down your arms and come quietly" Bane: "no". Palpatine: "you win, bounty hunter"

One of the worst decisions made was decanonizing the Darth Plagueis novel. Reading how Palpatine was a vile, muderous, power hungry, sadistic, criminal mastermind even as a child makes him all the more bone chilling. Seeing how he murdered his parents, joined the Sith Order, manipulated his way to becoming a senator then Chancellor of the Republic. The fact that he was evil from the start, no tragic backstory, no manipulation and turn to the dark side by a dark lord like Vader, Sauron, etc. He's truly the SW version of the Devil. Makes Voldemort look tame.

love how he goes from cold as ice in Phantom Menace to full cackling maniac in Revenge of the Sith
-
I never realized how little screen time he's had until now. Yet he's still one of the greatest villains of all time. I guess there are benefits of not over exposing your villain too much. Adds a veil of mystery to them.
-
28:51 Palpatine was like “Dooku you’re calling at the worst time my guy”
-
01:05:35 I love how Palpatine is casually looking at the Deathstar's plans when someone comes in.
-
It’s honestly amazing how truly monstrous and vile of a character Palpatine is.
-
Why I respect him as a villain Because: As Chancellor he's calm, cool, understanding and reasonable As Sidous he's a Powerful Sith, master of the Dark Side As both he's cunning, clever and always one step ahead In short a badass
-
39:46 Imagine getting called a rival by one of the most powerful beings in the universe. That's a straight-up compliment.
-
1:13:53 Is where we see how evil Palpatine truly is. He's completely gleeful while Vader is in absolute anguish and despair. It's a beautifully done scene.
-
One thing that fascinates me is how the Clone Wars makes Palpatine and Anakin's close friendship seem so...realistic and understandable. Like, I can finally understand why Anakin was so manipulated and why he didn't suspect anything.
-
Palpatine: Ayyy we captured Gunray! next clip Sidious: Fuck they captured Gunray
-
I feel like Palpatine even if he wasn't a sith, he would still be the best villain of all Star Wars. The way he manipulated the entire galaxy to his will by orchestrating a war is incredible and also scarily realistic if we compared him to contemporary world leaders.
-
Love Palpatine’s monologue at 15:40 where he outlines his vision for the Inquisitorious
-
One of the best villains in movie history turned out to be a politician.
-
54:10 Palpatine: “May I ask when Master Sifo Dias was killed?” Yoda: “…never said he was killed, I did…”
-
I love how he had Sith artifacts display in his office knowing the Jedi wouldn’t think twice about them
