Took a new approach to this video after enjoying the formats that Grainydays and Kraig Adams presented. I found this method a lot more enjoyable as a creator and would love to hear what you thought about the new approach coming from this channel.

This video follows two cousins and myself going winter camping for 3 nights. There is a lot of food, photos and cold weather to last the rest of the winter.

    I thought I was burnt out of watching photography vlogs until I randomly stumbled across this. The storytelling style is very refreshing — something about the focus being the event and moment, rather than the act of taking photos itself, brings a greater sense of immersion, and makes the experience feel far more natural and authentic. I got the sense you weren’t there just to take photos, but because you genuinely wanted to adventure, and it just so happened that the adventure made for some great photographs. About to go see what else your channel has to offer <3

    first time to view your video, cool trip and nice shots. I would suggest if you are gonna put your camera lens film info down, it would be better to use their full names, in that way more of us can understand the exact gear you were using. It would help someone to search for the gear for themselves much easier. eg: Leica M2 - Summicron-M 1:2/28 ASPH(11604) - Ilford HP5 Plus - developed by ABCD and scanned from WXYZ scanner

    Well done, Thomas. Not at a single point did I feel that the quality wasn't good enough. I've been thinking a lot about what you've said about the balance between living the moment and capturing it. You did a great job here your method of storytelling is certainly an inspiration. Plus, the photos you made are fantastic. Also, I would love to see more Aspen content on your channel in the future--what a sweetheart.
