I’m taking a First Class train across the entirely of Australia. From the very North of Darwin all the way down to South Australia, and Adelaide. This is one of the world’s most iconic train journeys and in turn is the world’s longest regularly scheduled train (the Ghan operates up to 1000m in length!).

So what will I share with you? I’ll show you each of the three classes available, Economy, Business Class and First Class. I’m booked into First Class (also called Platinum Service). Here i’ll be able to show you the various facilities, ensuite shower room, lounge car and of course Australian dining onboard. What’s more as this is The Ghan Expedition service (only run South bound) we’ll get lot’s of time off train to explore more of Australia. I’ll take a private flight over Uluru and explore an Opal mining town where the residents live underground! So please come along, on one of the world’s greatest train journeys!

  • Gotta admit mom videos make me the happiest. Lost my mum years ago and it’s really special that you choose to spend these amazing times with her.
  • Congrats on hitting the 1M milestone. The cinematography of this travel video is truly incredible, especially the shots of Uluru. Your storytelling is impeccable and it always feels like we’re right there with you.

I think it is so amazing that you bring your mom / dad to some of these trips. You are an amazing son. Bet they are having the time of their lives!
  • I really like how this is not just a 4 day train journey, it really is the destination & holiday in itself and stops for day tours along the way so your not just endlessly sitting bored on a train for 4 days. This is definitely on my bucket list!
  • I’m a oil driller on oil rigs in Australia and before I went home to Norway after 2 weeks on the rig, me and a few buddies Took this train first class for fun. Really a amazing trip. But if I paid myself, I would never do it. Thanks for a amazing video.

I love seeing you travel with your parents. I lost my dad over 20 years ago. My mom is currently fighting Cancer, so we're not able to travel as we used to. Treasure the moments with them.

Interesting fact: camels are not native to Australia. The first camel was imported to Australia from the Canary Islands. More were bought in from other continents. Today, over 1M feral camels roam this continent. And what a coincidence - 1M subscribers for trek trendy has also been achieved! 🎉🍾
  • As an Aussie, I am so glad that your mum also loves the vegemite, it is one item I keep on my table as I eat it so often, also thanks for showing us the Rock as you flew in as I have seen it many a time from land but not by air. It is one place I have never visited & probably never will now that I am older, besides the ten grand is put aside for my demise. Congratulations on reaching the 1M mark, you deserve it.

As a South Australian, I've been keenly waiting for videos from your Aussie trip. Definitely did not disappoint!!

"I love a sunburnt country, a land of sweeping plains, of ragged mountain ranges, of droughts and flooding rains. I love her far horizons, i love her jewel-sea. Her beauty and her terror, the wide brown land for me!" - Excerpt from 'My Country' a poem written by Dorothea Mackellar which perfectly encapsulates my home. Thank you Will for doing such a great job showing off our beautiful country to the world and so many of its quirks. I think for your next All-Aussie adventure, you should give a 'round the continent' cruise a go.
  • Love the Trek Trendy videos where you bring along a companion! (Be it Millie, Mum or Dad)! Such a great way to experience the world! 🌏
  • @Kayjee17
So nice to see your mum, Will! The train looked lovely, and thanks for sharing your experiences with those of us who don't have the means for it - it's fun to enjoy everything through your camera lens. Cheers!

Your Mum is lovely and how nice for you to spend time with her on these adventures. Cherish these moments.
  • I love your videos, but I wish they were a little longer at times, especially with such an epic journey like this one. Maybe even broken into two parts so as not to seem overwhelming to viewers. I appreciate how much work goes into making these videos, so I understand the scope of this request. This is by no means a criticism, but rather a compliment in that I would like the experience to last longer! Thank you for taking me with you on your journeys!
  • @morningrose428
It's mum! Hi mum! I'm glad she's back on her feet and fully healed. This train journey seems like an absolute dream.
  • I find it kind of adorable that your mum was sleeping next to you, but obviously put the foot down on being filmed after dinner time.
  • Congrats on the 1 million subscribers. It was nice to see mom healed after her last injury. Thank you for this video, it will be on my bucket list for my trip to Australia.
